The last month has been an eventful month for me and my husband Vince. Now that we live in Utah, we don’t get to see our families as often. This year we were able to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with our family when in past years it has been tough to see them both holidays.
Of course I took some pictures from Thanksgiving and Christmas and I want to share some with you!
This is Raegan and you’ve probably seen her before on my blog. She loves to model for me so I always make sure to take lots of pictures.

Crystal, Kennedy and Alex below were having such a good time coloring so I had to take a few pictures.

Finally…a picture of my husband Vince! For those who don’t know him, he’s in the middle of the picture.

Sophie is my niece and I haven’t seen her in almost 2 years! Can’t believe how grown up she is!

And finally… this is Batman, my brother-in-law’s dog. He will lick your face to death and he knows how to do flips. He’s pretty much the coolest Boston Terrier out there.

I know, I know…I haven’t updated my blog in a long time! Things have been kinda crazy lately. But I have lots to post and now you have lots to look forward to! And I promise to start posting more frequently!
Last week I had a maternity photo shoot with Alexis. Alexis wanted to do something similar to Jaci’s photo shoot with some indoor shots as well as a few outdoor shots. We started off our photo shoot outside while it was snowing (a lot!) but were hoping the sky would clear up after our indoor shoot. It finally stopped snowing and we were able to get some really fun shots with some blue sky in the pictures.
Congratulations to both of you!

I’ve known Bryan and Justine for over 10 years. Since the first day they met, I knew they were perfect for each other. It was just a matter of time before they tied the knot. Less than two years ago, Bryan and Justine as well as a bunch of our close friends came to visit my husband and me for a snowboarding trip. I was ecstatic to find out that Bryan was planning to propose to Justine that weekend and I was going to be there to see it!
Bryan proposed at the most amazing location! We decided to go snowmobiling one of the days and we ended up riding up to the very top of a mountain. The view was breathtaking. Bryan knew it was the perfect spot to propose. What a great day for Bryan and Justine (and the rest of us!).
Congratulations Bryan and Justine and thank you for being such great friends! Your wedding was absolutely beautiful and you two are so perfect together!

Melissa Afflerbach, a good friend of mine, is getting certified as a yoga instructor. For the past couple months she’s been teaching yoga classes at her house and I’ve been taking some of her classes ever since. All I have to say is Melissa is truly meant for teaching yoga. She’s incredibly passionate about what she does and her positive energy is contagious to those around her.
Melissa wanted to take some yoga pictures of herself and one of her students Courtney and I was thrilled when she asked me if I could be the photographer for this shoot.
If you live in Utah and are interested in taking a class with Melissa, feel free to email her at melissachristo@yahoo.com. She loves new students!
The first picture is Melissa Afflerbach and the second is her student Courtney.

My first senior photo shoot in Ohio was with Katelyn. Katelyn’s mom Beverly introduced me to the Sand Run Metro Park in Akron. I immediately fell in love with Ohio because of the Sand Run. It is beautiful in October when all the leaves are changing colors!
I had a wonderful time with Katelyn and her mom. Such a sweet family! Thanks Katelyn and Beverly for a great time in Ohio and asking me to take Katelyn’s senior photos!

I met up with Lexie this week for her senior photos. For some reason, every time I schedule a photo shoot, it wants to rain on me. But I guess I’m lucky (knock on wood) because it happens to stop raining right before my shoots.
I had a great time working with you Lexie. Have a great senior year!

I went to Ohio this past weekend for a couple senior photo shoots. I’ve never been to Ohio let alone anywhere in the Midwest or East Coast. I was immediately in LOVE with Ohio. I’m used to freeways and smog in Cali and desert and mountains in Utah. Ohio has so many trees… I love it!
Lauren Scott and Katelyn DeSimone are both high school seniors and were interested in having me take their senior photos. I was stoked to be able to fly to Ohio for their photo shoot. Check out Lauren’s senior photos below! Katelyn’s photos are coming soon!
Thanks Lauren and Amy for showing me around town and for a great evening after Lauren’s photo shoot. I hope I can come back soon or maybe someday we’ll be traveling together to Hilton Head, South Carolina!

Denise approached me asking if I could take some pictures of her daughter Danielle Lynn. Danielle is 8 years old and was recently baptized. Although there was a little sadness to think her “baby” was growing up, Denise and the family was so excited to see her baptized. The family had a very fun time looking for a beautiful baptism dress and wanted to show it off a little more with a family photo shoot.
We headed to Gardner Village in Salt Lake City for the shoot and had a great time (although it was freezing that day)! Thank you Goettsche family and congratulations Danielle!

I had a maternity photo shoot last weekend with Jaci. She contacted me wanting more of an indoor type shoot vs. outdoor. As much as I love outdoor shoots, I’m so happy with how cute Jaci’s pictures turned out. She is a beautiful girl that will have a beautiful baby and I had such a blast taking pictures of her.
Jaci entered a “baby bump” contest on our local radio station (97.1 ZHT) and submitted a picture I took of her. Please vote for Jaci (entry number #117). She had the cutest baby bump and deserves to win!
Congratulations Jaci!

More coming soon!
